Since 2010, the Nerd has been a regular part of Pat the NES Punk's annual NES marathon for charity, presenting special reviews via video appearances. The guy is a smug asshole as is his co-host Ian. Hes also super thin skinned with a prosecution complex. Those two groups helped make retro gaming completely unaffordable to people who want to get into the hobby but dont have a ton of extra disposable income. Pro-AM II, Jaws Unleashed, Smash TV, and PAX East Live!. I dislike Pat because hes a collector and reseller. He also appeared as himself in a few James & Mike Mondays episodes, namely Super Off Road, R.C. Its no secret by now that a lot of people cant stand Pat The NES Punk, and after Rich from ReviewTechUSA just talked about how Ian and Pat call him a shill. Pat makes an appearance in Angry Video Game Nerd: The Movie as part of the Nerd protesters. The Nerd is also present in a double feature episode of Pat the NES Punk, where the former reviews a bad Konami game ( The Adventures of Bayou Billy) and the latter reviews a good LJN game ( The Punisher). Pat also makes a cameo appearance in Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures in the stage Boo! Haunted House. Pat has appeared in a few episodes of the Angry Video Game Nerd series, most notably Nintendo World Championships. He also guest starred on two episodes of the Spike TV series 1000 Ways to Die as an interviewee.
